Decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is a blockchain-based software that offers a built-in model for collective code governance. DAO principally differs from centralized organizations governed by councils, committees, and managers. DAO is not governed by a limited group, it uses a set of rules written in code and applied by a network of computers with common software. It eliminates problems connected with incorrect management decisions.
